Since 1819, Thonet Germany start making chair with steamed bentwood and become famous worldwide. Starting from 1930, they start doing tubular steel seating, which is also a pioneer worldwide. Thonet cooperate with some famous architect in seating design and keep producing a lot of design classic that give you a lot of memories of the oldest days. Thonet is now manage by the 5th generation and keep growing in market coverage and sales turnover.
